Tanzanian rapper Chidi Benz left the country on Monday afternoon after shooting two music videos with local rap group, P Unit, and Genge godfather Nonini. The two music videos were shot in three different locations: in a club in Pangani, an office in Westlands and at the Tribe Hotel, all in Nairobi.According to Frasha, the capped member of P Unit, Chidi first shot the video for his hit single 'Chaguo Langu' in the morning before he joined P Unit and Nonini in shooting the video for the remix of 'Kadhaa'.
For those waiting for the release, Frasha said, “They should be ready in a month’s time”. The two videos were shot by Willy Owusu’s production firm, Big Ideas and Nonini’s Pro Habo.
Chidi is one of the most respected hip hop artistes in his country and is the founder member and leader of 'LAFamilia group', based in Dar es Salaam.
Some of his hit songs are 'DSM Stand Up' and 'Pompom Pishhaaha'.
